Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 June 2026

LaraSchema ("we", "us") is a visual database schema designer for Laravel. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers both the web application and the LaraSchema MCP connector — the integration that lets AI assistants such as Claude read and edit your schemas on your behalf.

Data we collect

  • Account data — your name, email address, and authentication details.
  • Schema content — the projects, tables, columns, and relationships you create.
  • Connection data — when you connect an AI client through the MCP connector, we store an access token and the connecting client's name (e.g. "Claude").
  • MCP activity — for security and abuse prevention we log each MCP tool call: your user id, the tool name, the connecting client, and a timestamp. We do not store the contents of your conversations with the AI assistant.

What the MCP connector can access

When you authorize an AI client via OAuth, you grant it the mcp:use scope. With it, the client can — on your instruction — list your projects, read a project's schema, create or modify tables, columns, and relationships, and generate Laravel code from your schema. A connected client can only access projects owned by your account. It cannot access other users' data, your password, or your billing details.

How we use data

We use your data to provide the schema-design service, to authenticate you, to operate and secure the MCP connector, and to prevent abuse (for example, rate limiting and activity logs). We do not sell your data, and we do not use your schema content to train models.

Who sees your data

Your schema content is private to your account. AI clients see only the data you direct them to access during a session. When you use an AI assistant, your prompts and the tool results are also processed by that assistant's provider (for Claude, Anthropic) under their own privacy terms. Our staff may access data only as needed to operate the service or respond to support requests.

Retention and your controls

  • You can revoke any connected client at any time from your MCP tokens page.
  • You can delete your projects, which removes the associated schema content.
  • MCP activity logs are retained only for operational and security purposes.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
